How to Order Food

Steps

   Open Funafuna

   Go to funafuna.com or open the Funafuna app.

   Start from the home screen or Explore when you know you want something to eat.

   Tap Food or search for restaurants

   Open Explore → Food, or search from the home bar — try restaurant, takeaway, matebeto, or a dish name.

   You can also search by area — for example food in Woodlands — to see vendors near you.

   Open a restaurant profile

   Tap a restaurant or food vendor to open its public profile.

   Check the name, area, photos, and whether they show a menu on Funafuna.

   Review menu items, hours, location, and payment options

   On the profile, review:

   • Menu items — names, prices, and categories when listed
   • Hours — when they are open today
   • Location — address, area, and directions
   • Payment options — cash, mobile money, and other methods the vendor accepts
   • Delivery notes — if the vendor mentions delivery areas or pickup

   Note what you want to order before you contact them.

5. 5

   Tap WhatsApp or Call

   Tap WhatsApp to send your order in chat, or Call to place it by phone.

   Funafuna opens WhatsApp with the restaurant’s number — you type or speak your order directly with the vendor.

6. 6

   Confirm your order, pickup, delivery, and payment method

   When you message or call, confirm:

   • Items and quantities — be specific about sides and sizes
   • Pickup or delivery — collection time or delivery address
   • Total price — ask if not shown on the menu
   • Payment — cash on delivery, mobile money before dispatch, or pay on pickup

   Save the restaurant (Save favorites) if you order from them often.
