How to Share a Business with Friends

Learn how to share a business page with family, friends, or customers.

Found a great spot? Tap Share on the profile and send the link — friends open the full Funafuna page and contact the business themselves.

Steps

Open a business profile
Search on Funafuna and open the public profile of the business you want to recommend.

This works for restaurants, salons, mechanics, lodges, and any listing on Funafuna.
Tap Share
Tap the Share button on the profile — usually near the top with other actions like Save.

Your phone opens the system share sheet with apps you can send the link through.

Choose WhatsApp, SMS, or another app
Pick how you want to send the link:
- WhatsApp — share directly to a contact or group
- SMS / Messages — text the link to someone’s phone
- Other apps — email, social apps, or copy link depending on your device
Funafuna includes a link to the business page in what you send.
Send the business link
Add a short message if you like — for example Try this place for lunch or Good mechanic in our area — then send.

The recipient gets a funafuna.com link that opens the business profile in their browser or app.

When your friend taps the link, they land on the same public profile — photos, menu, hours, and WhatsApp / Call buttons.

They can contact the business directly; no account is required to view the page.

Does the person I share with need a Funafuna account?: No. Public business pages open for anyone with the link. They only need to sign in if they want to save the business or use signed-in features.
Can I share on WhatsApp?: Yes. WhatsApp is one of the most common ways to share a Funafuna business link with friends and family.
