Steps
Search for Taxi
Open Funafuna and search for taxi, a company name, or try Transport → Taxi from Explore.
You can also search by area — for example taxi in Lusaka — to see operators near you.
Browse nearby drivers and operators
Review the results list. Each card shows the operator name, area, and quick actions like WhatsApp or Call.
Tap View on map or location hints when shown to see how close an operator is to your area.
Open a profile
Tap an operator to open their full public profile.
Read service areas, typical routes (airport, city, long-distance), and any notes about booking on WhatsApp.
Call or WhatsApp
Tap WhatsApp to message the operator, or Call for voice booking.
Funafuna does not dispatch the car for you — you agree pickup and fare directly with the operator, the same way you would after finding them in town.
Share your pickup location
Send a clear pickup point — landmark, estate gate, shop name, or share your live location in WhatsApp.
Mention how many passengers and any luggage so the right vehicle is sent.
Confirm destination and fare
Tell the operator where you are going and ask for the fare (or estimate) before the trip starts.
Agree on payment — cash, mobile money, or other methods the operator accepts — then wait for your taxi at the pickup point.
