Request quotes or services from businesses such as plumbers, electricians, cleaners, mechanics, tailors, tutors, and more.
From plumbers to tutors, Funafuna helps you find local service providers and start the conversation. Describe the job, compare quotes, and agree on time and price directly with the business.
Steps
Search for the service
Open Funafuna and search for what you need — for example plumber, electrician, mechanic, tailor, tutor, or cleaner.
You can also open Explore → Services to browse categories.
Browse businesses
Review the results list. Each card shows the business name, area, and quick contact actions.
Compare a few listings — ratings, photos, and descriptions help you choose who to message first.
Open a profile
Tap a business to open its public profile.
Check services offered, photos, hours, payment methods, and whether they accept service requests on Funafuna.
Tap Request Service or WhatsApp
If the business accepts requests on Funafuna, tap Request service and follow the prompts.
Otherwise tap WhatsApp or Call to describe the job directly — many customers send photos and details in WhatsApp.
Describe what you need
Explain the problem or job clearly:
- What needs to be fixed or done
- Your location or address
- Urgency (today, this week, flexible)
- Photos if helpful (leaks, wiring, car issue, fabric sample)
The more detail you give, the easier it is to get an accurate quote.
Agree on price and time
Wait for the business to reply with a quote, visit time, or questions.
Confirm price, when they will arrive, and how you will pay (cash, mobile money, etc.) before work starts.
You can message several businesses if you want to compare quotes — each conversation is between you and that business.

Yes. Open several profiles and message each business on WhatsApp or submit separate requests. Compare replies before you choose.
- Do I need an account?
Searching and contacting via WhatsApp or phone works without signing in. Some in-app request flows may ask you to sign in so the business can follow up.
- Can I attach photos?
Yes, especially on WhatsApp. Photos of the issue, vehicle, or project help businesses quote accurately.
- How do businesses respond?
Most reply on WhatsApp or by phone. If you used Request service on Funafuna, they may also confirm through the app depending on how the business manages requests.
